Thank you for your interest in Band Day 2020! If you would like to register an entry for the parade, please register online or in person at 212 Airport Road during business hours (BUSINESS HOURS HERE).

Band Day is an excellent opportunity to showcase your business or organization. We appreciate the extra time and effort you make to have your entry stand out. Please read the following guidelines carefully before you plan your parade entry:

No political entries, with the exception of currently elected or appointed officials.
No commercial vehicles unless fully decorated and/or pulling a float.
No controversial entries (per CVB discretion).
No tractor trailers.
No candy or other items thrown into the crowd from a vehicle. If you would like to distribute any items as part of your parade entry, you are required to have individuals walk with you to hand out candy along the edges of the route.


In an effort to limit the length and increase the safety of the parade, the Band Day Committee has made the following changes. Please review them carefully:

Parade Route:
Due to construction on 18th St E, the parade route will start from Cutting Field on 18th St W and proceed:
East on 18th St W to 2nd Ave W
South on 2nd Ave W to 11th St W
East on 11th St W to the SE corner of Harmon Park
At the SE corner of Harmon Park, parade officials will direct you to either continue straight on 11th St or turn south onto Main in order to keep the parade moving efficiently.

Parade Lineup:
Lineup will take place in the parking lot of Cutting Field, on the track (for student marching bands) and in the streets surrounding Cutting Field, as needed. As in years past, each parade entry will be e-mailed a map and lineup assignment the week prior to Band Day. The drive in front of Wilkinson School will be reserved as a drop off point for buses and people meeting to be part of a parade entry. If you are not driving a float, please try to be dropped off rather than drive. Parking will not be available at Cutting Field.

Size, Cost and Quantity of Entries:
This year and going forward, no tractor trailers are allowed in the Band Day Parade.
If your parade entry is oversized (larger than a pickup truck), you are limited to ONE motorized vehicle or ONE tractor/trailer combination. 
The event donation for each parade entry is $50, with a $25 fee for each additional motorized vehicle in your entry (limit 5 additional motorized vehicles).
