Step into a world of winter magic at our Christmas at the Confluence: Winter Faire! This family-friendly, drop-in celebration blends festive fun, frontier traditions, and hands-on history for an afternoon everyone can enjoy, and don’t forget to shop our gift shop, where all items will be 10% off during the event! Warm up with coffee, cocoa, and Christmas cookies, then dive into a full slate of festive activities throughout the center, including: Drop-Spindling interactive demos Crochet Corner – Learn to crochet chains Learn how the Army and Indigenous groups prepared for winter Toy Seller Stand - Play with and learn about historic toys and frontier childhood. Tin-Punch Ornament Craft Letters from the Frontier – Write a quill-and-ink letter to Santa Indigenous Ice Gliding Game Indoor and outdoor games Snow games and snowshoeing (weather permitting) Join us at 3:30 p.m. CT for an interactive reading of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas Come celebrate the season with creativity, history, and winter cheer! This family-friendly program is part of the ND250 commemoration celebrating our country’s 250th birthday.
