Details

The Reel History film series offers visitors a unique way to connect with the stories of the Confluence region—through the big screen. Whether it’s a documentary or a family-friendly favorite, each selection is carefully chosen to reflect the natural history, cultural heritage, or significant events tied to the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence and nearby Fort Buford. Occasionally, showings are paired with hands-on items or interpretive displays for an even deeper dive into the themes explored on screen.

This month, travel back to the prehistoric past with Ice Age (2002) the movie ... a laugh-out-loud animated adventure that kicks off a deeper look into our region’s ancient glacial history. After the movie, explore the Ice Age world of the Confluence region through hands-on items and engaging displays highlighting the area’s natural history and the early peoples who once called this landscape home.
