Parade Entry Registration

Parade Rules

No Political Entries – Only current elected or appointed officials may participate.

Loud music is not allowed, except for live bands (per Williston CVB’s discretion).

No Controversial Entries – Subject to Williston CVB’s discretion.

Commercial vehicles must be decorated or pulling a float

Vehicle Limit – Maximum of five (5) vehicles, no larger than a pickup.

Oversized Vehicles – If larger than a pickup, limit is one vehicle OR one vehicle with a trailer. Enclosed cargo semi-trailer combinations are not allowed.

Entries must be able to navigate the route and lineup without special accommodations. Limited heavy equipment entries are allowed.

Candy and other items should not be thrown from your float/vehicle. Use designated walkers to distribute candy or other items along the route to ensure the safety of spectators and participants.

Live Animal Entries – All entries with live animals must have a designated pooper scooper accompanying them to clean up after the animals along the parade route.

Entry Fee for ONE motorized vehicle or vehicle/trailer combination - $50 *

Entry Fee for first ADDITIONAL motorized vehicle (can register up to five additional); must be no larger than a pickup truck. - $25

Entry Fee for second ADDITIONAL motorized vehicle (can register up to five total); must be no larger than a pickup truck. - $25

Entry Fee for third ADDITIONAL motorized vehicle (can register up to five total); must be no larger than a pickup truck. - $25

Entry Fee for fourth ADDITIONAL motorized vehicle (can register up to five total); must be no larger than a pickup truck. - $25

Please give a PHYSICAL description of your parade entry. Example: decorated pick-up truck hauling a float on a trailer plus 10 walkers handing out bags of cotton candy. Example: 6 riders on horseback *

Please provide a 1-3 sentence description of your group or business to be potentially read by commentator booth personnel. Example: Club XYZ''''s mission is to draw attention to migratory birds. They have been active in North Dakota for 20 years.

I understand if I do not follow the event rules set forth in this agreement, I forfeit all fees paid to the Williston CVB and may be banned from any and all future events organized by the Williston CVB. *

I understand the CVB does not inspect parade entries for safety, nor does the CVB guarantee conditions of the parade route to be suitable for all types of parade entries. All registrations are subject to approval by the Band Day Committee, which will have final approval of entry registrations and reserves the right to deny participation to any entry for safety, content, poor conduct and/or disregard of entry guidelines among other causes. *
