Parade registration for Band Day 2027 will open this winter.

Parade Rules
- No Political Entries – Only current elected or appointed officials may participate.
- Loud music is not allowed, except for live bands (per Williston CVB’s discretion).
- No Controversial Entries – Subject to Williston CVB’s discretion.
- Commercial vehicles must be decorated or pulling a float
- Vehicle Limit – Maximum of three (3) vehicles, no larger than a pickup.
- Oversized Vehicles – If larger than a pickup, limit is one vehicle OR one vehicle with a trailer. Enclosed cargo semi-trailer combinations are not allowed.
- Entries must be able to navigate the route and lineup without special accommodations. Limited heavy equipment entries are allowed.
- Candy and other items should not be thrown from your float/vehicle. Use designated walkers to distribute candy or other items along the route to ensure the safety of spectators and participants.
- Live Animal Entries – All entries with live animals must have a designated pooper scooper accompanying them to clean up after the animals along the parade route.
We do not inspect for safety, nor do we warrant the conditions of the parade route to be suitable for all types of floats. All registrations are subject to approval by the Band Day Committee, which has final approval of entry registrations and reserves the right to deny participation to any entry that does not meet the requirements outlined in the registration form.
Entry Fee
The fee is $50 per parade entry. If your entry includes multiple motorized vehicles, there is an additional fee of $25 per extra vehicle, up to a maximum of two additional vehicles.
Parade Route
East to west on 18th St and then north to south on 2nd Ave West, ending at Harmon Park.
Parade Lineup
Location: Along 18th St E, near the college and Williston ARC parking lots.
Lineup instructions will be sent via email the week before Band Day and will also be posted on our website and Facebook page. Be sure to provide accurate contact information!
