Kota Ray Dam Campground

The park at Kota Ray Dam is located about 10 miles south of Ray, ND and offers fishing, camping, and more.

Boating

Motorized and non-motorized watercraft are allowed, but the lake is NO WAKE. There is a canoe/kayak launch located on the lake on each side of the park.

Camping

Individual Electric/Water Campsites: $20/night

From May through September, reservations must be made online. 

KRD - North
There are two campsites with electrical (20/30/50 amp) and potable water hookups (Sites N1 and N2). Up to 1 RV/1 Vehicle/1 Tent or 1 Vehicle/2 Tents can occupy a site.

KRD - South
There are 12 campsites with electrical (20/30/50 amp) and potable water hookups (Sites S1 - S12). Up to 1 RV/1 Vehicle/1 Tent or 1 Vehicle/2 Tents can occupy a site.

Group Campsites: $50/night

KRD - North
There are two Group Campsites (G1 and G2), each with three electrical (20/30/50 amp) and potable water hookups. One Group Campsite can be occupied by up to 3 RVs/3 Vehicles/2 Tents or 4 Tents/3 Vehicles.

Campfires
Campfires may only be built in the provided fire rings, which may not be moved from their current location. All fires must be supervised by a person of at least 18 years of age and must be maintained in a safe manner in accordance of the ND Rangeland Fire Danger Index.
