Experience Living History at the Fort Union Rendezvous

Step back in time and experience the 19th-century fur trade era at the 42nd Annual Fort Union Rendezvous, the region's largest living history event. Held at the beautifully reconstructed Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site on the banks of the upper Missouri River, this four-day fair brings the American frontier to life with immersive activities for all ages.

Authentic Reenactments – Over 100 costumed reenactors from across the U.S. and Canada portray traders, trappers, Native American nations, and frontier folk, demonstrating traditional skills and lifeways.

Traditional Demonstrations – Watch artisans showcase blacksmithing, pottery, spinning and weaving, frontier cooking, and more.

Interactive Family Activities – Engage in hands-on stations, games, and storytelling that captivate visitors of all ages.

Historical Vendors – Explore and shop Trader's Row for unique period goods and crafts.
Kids Day – Thursday, June 12 | 10 AM – 2 PM
